An anthology of forty-nine deadly tales of the Seven Deadly Sins by seven talented authors (Deborah Elliott-Upton, B.J. Bourg, Kimberly Brown, John M. Floyd, Sunny Frazier, Gary Hoffman and Frank Zafiro), SEVEN BY SEVEN is edited by Tony Burton, with a Foreward by award winning author, G. Miki Hayden.
"Enthusiastically recommended reading!" -- Midwest Book Reviews, June 2006
"Each author crafted a sinfully good tale with sinfully bad characters...You might think there'd be a simularity in the stories for each of the Sins, but far from it. Each writer put a unique and original spin on his or her story, and you'll enjoy them all as much as I did." -- Earl Skaggs, Derringer Award winner and author of Memory of a Murder
"For a shiver or an evil grin, I highly recommend this group of deadly albeit humorous authors! Seven By Seven is a plethora of skillfully written tales that will amuse and chill you, topped off with a foreward by an outstanding author I can never get enough of, G. Miki Hayden." -- Babs Lakey, author of Spirit of the Straightedge and Spirit of the Silent Butler.
"Seven writers x seven deadly sins=49 ways of death in 600 words or less each...Indulge in all seven deadly sins--they're heavenly!" -- Gay Toltl Kinman, author of Castle Reiner and The Mystery of the Octagon House

Wolfmont Publishing announced the second annual Holiday crime stories anthology to benefit Toys for Tots™. According to publisher and editor, Tony Burton, “Carols and Crimes, Gifts and Grifters feature stories from fifteen talented authors.”
I’m not going to disagree since I am one of the authors.
Many of the stories (including mine) were written expressly for this collection. The other authors are (in order of their appearance): Sue Ann Jaffarian, Earl Staggs, Thomas H. Cook, Gail Farrelly, Nick Andreychuk, Hershel Cozine, Frank Zafiro, Chris Grabenstein, moi, Jan Christensen, Austin S. Camacho, Tony Burton, Gay Toltl, Margaret Fenton, and Peggy Jaegly.
Last year’s sales of By the Chimney with Care was released late in the year, but still managed to gift Toys for Tots™ $1,365 and helped make the holidays happier for many kids. “All the authors in this fantastic collection have contributed their time and creativity toward making this a brighter holiday season for children who have very little,” said Tony Burton.
This may sound a bit like a commercial and I admit it is, but one thing is different: none of the authors received payment other than feeling happy about helping someone else during the holidays. The net proceeds go directly to the Marines’ Toys for Tots™ program.
Carols and Crimes, Gifts and Grifters may be ordered from any bookstore, directly from the publisher
